Twin turbo 2010 Camaro SS!!
2010 Camaro SS
PCMforless
I wanted to say thank you for the fantastic job you did on my Camaro. There
is a DRASTIC difference in the way it drives and the way it feels. Never
mind the fact that it went from 370hp to 505hp (with the twin turbo), that
goes without saying. I can tell an obvious difference in the way it shifts
and when it makes the decision to drop gears. Having the L99 stock I felt a
big lag when flooring it. Now, when I punch the gas pedal it immediately
drops and puts me back in my seat from any speed or gear. I also love that
instead of the car shifting at its factory tuned point (I believe around
5,500rpm) it now shifts at a higher RPM when I got it on floor. The
transition between gears is seamless and much quicker. Not only to praise
the work done on the car, the customer service was awesome. I am kind of an
impatient person so I was constantly calling for updates, Kelly was more
than helpful and promptly responding to my emails an phone calls. I am
without a doubt going to suggest using PCMforless to anyone that asks about
my car. I have had it back for less than a week and have already shocked
everyone that has sat in the passenger seat.

Robert 07 Suburban
Alvin, I want to thank you for the tune that you performed on my 07 Suburban. Overall the performance of the truck and how well it performs is incredible. Gas peddle pressure to accelerate requires hardly any at all, shifting improved, and gas mileage on the highway went from 16mpg to 20mpg driving round trip to Columbia,SC.
I have already mentioned to several friends that they need your service's and I am sure they will be as happy as I am.
Thanks,
Robert

TFS Head Package LS1 Camaro
Hey Alvin I know I didnt get to talk to you when I came to pick the car up but I just wanted to thank you for the work on the car... I love the way it feels, It rides like stock and just pulls through every gear with out an effort. I dont know that there will be many times that I will ever be able to take full advantage of the cars power in it's current set-up just due to the lack of gripping power and over all surface contact that my currents wheels offer. If I ever need another tune I know I can trust you to give me a hell of a tune that will meet my desires.

Installed a Pcmforless trans cooler and an Autometer trans temp guage tonight. The cooler is the brake duct version with push-lock lines and the trans temp guage is an Ultralite II and was installed in the SS plug. Both products were high quality pieces and very easy to install. It was a pretty cool night out (around 40*) and I took the truck for a ride and the trans temp never got over 150*. I'm very pleased with the new addition to my ride.

Happy Friday
Hey Kelly!
Happy Friday! Finally got the time to shoot you a quick email and say thanks to you and Alvin. The trucks run better than ever! In fact, Edward was able to make an 8.7 pass in the 1/8th in 93 degree weather last weekend…DA was awful! Lol. He was very happy though. We’re thinking in good air, he could see 8.0 or less! Let Alvin know that the cables did the trick with our voltage issues too.
Thanks again for everything and it was nice finally meeting you both.
Have a great weekend!

Alvin and Kelly, I wanted to let you know how great a job you did on james camaro. I drove it at fayetteville and the tune was spot on, it made great power but traction was an issue so it only ran a 6.30 @ 106 mph. I definitely want to get my car to you so we can see what you can do to make it run even better. I'll give you a call to set up a time, and maybe we'll be able to make some passes at mooresville on the same day. Thanks again.

Hi Alvin,
Just wanted to let you know that my 07' TBSS is up and running.
Mods:
1. IEATSRT8 Cold Air Kit
2. Stealth Low-Lift Cam Kit
3. Headers- (long tube) w/dual exhaust.
4. PCMforless computor tune.
5. 160 Thermostat
Most certainly a healthy sounding machine now! Slight lopeing from the cam is "noticeable" at a 650 rpm idle. It does tend to "rock" the vehicle a small amount at idle from stock cam. Sounds great with the headers, and duals.
Once in gear...the tug on the converter is obvious, as it is much more wanting to "go" verses the stock set-up. (planning to get a slightly higher stall converter and tranny cooler soon)
The tune really turned this thing on. Less pedal is noticed first of all to get thing's rolling. Shifts are firm and positive. I'm running stock "good year's" but they tend to break loose with a slight power brake punch, or from the first to second shift. Third is much more stronger than stock, with a strong pull all the way to redline at 6600 rpm. If you keep your foot in it after that...it is plain stupid fast! (as you know)
As this is a daily driver the improvement over stock is way noticable, and mileage is about the same as stock. I am certainly glad I found PCM for less!! Really felt like I was dealing with an outfit that cared about it's customers. Thanks to "Kelly" too for the prompt delivery of my cam kit, and computor turn around.

Thanks Bryan!
I just swapped the PCM and thermostat, changed the engine oil and drove the 9C1.... WOW!!!
This is more than i expected from a PCM tune and an otherwise nearly stock engine.
The car was running good before but now it´s running really great!
Acceleration is much better and i think the engine runs a little smoother.

130mph Govenor
I purchased a 94 Police Package Caprice with the LT1. Being a Police Officer in Indianapolis I have drove numerous LT1 Caprices at over 140mph. The one I bought was a prior OHIO State Police Car and had been ordered with the cheaper H-Rated Tires and came with the VZ2 RPO Code: 130mph Govenor. I ordered a reprogrammed unit from Bryan, had it installed a few days later. The next time I was on a lonley Indiana Country rode I wound here out to 144mph. Bryan was awesome and he refunded my core when he recieved my old unit. Great Guy!

Alvin, thanks for the assistance with the new attitude cam install.
It's amazing at how well it runs yet does not exhibit any big cam issues on the bottom. Your extensive R D has really paid off.
Highly recommend this cam to anyone with a Trailblazer SS that wants performance and does NOT want it to sound stock.
Nice to have a TBSS that runs 12's

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know!!
As far as a testamonial goes, see what you think,
The tune is awesome. The mid range power doesn't feel anything like a 6 cylinder and the TrailBlazer has a much sportier feel to it. It is probably the best option for tuning a TrailBlazer. On top of that, the customer service is absolutely TOP-NOTCH!!!

I drove 28 hours to have them touch my SS
Well, let me tell you that i researched the heck out of this trailblazer SS before and after purchase. Every thread on most every forum had the name of either ALVIN or PCMFORLESS. Short story..I drove from Ottawa, Ontario Canada to have them do their thing. Not sort of pleased, rather completely blown away with the difference in this truck. Bottom end improved, shift points awesome, mid range CRAZY and top end... well we have snow now but I expect great things there too! I am going back to PCMFORLESS for more goodies really soon...PS- they gave me a corvette as a loaner !! LMAO I WISH !!

1995 Caprice 9C1 Alive
Bryan,
I wanted to come back to your site, and say how pleased I am with the results of your programing. My car has come alive, The idle has returned to normal, the shifts are precise and the power has returned, it's a real joy to hear my tires bark at the shift into 2nd gear.
I had read and read about your work and wasn't able to check it out in another vehicle, finally I was able to get it done to mine and I can't say enough about the experience, my friends are starting to get irritated with my bragging!
Not only is your work everything I had heard, but your customer service is second to none, you were very polite and prompt to all my inquiries, a rare company trait these days.
I will continue to recommend your service to everyone.
Again thank you for everything!

Awsome Product
I just got my programmed pcm installed and running on my 94 A4 z28 and its an excellant upgrade. The car runs a ton smoother and it shifts now almost as hard as a manual, i love it. This tune is well worth the money. Customer service is an A+++, bryan is a great guy to deal with. Im currently on 2 weeks of army leave and have to be back in germany, headed for iraq soon. Bryan got my pcm done super fast and i got it within 3 days of ordering so now i can enjoy it before i leave. I will definatly be using bryan in the future when i get home and can start working on my car more seriusly. Thanks bryan.

V6 Camaro
Dear Alvin,
I recently purchased and installed a tuned pcm for my 1997 v6 firebird. Now on my beloved, yet for lack of a better term, GM made vehicle all my upgrades have all been one nuisance after another. I have personally installed headers, a full exhaust, an intake, and a 160 degree thermostat. Now all these upgrades did add power-Hence the phrase power adders . However, not until recently did I install your programmed PCM did I ever experience the gain and changes that occured to my car after the engine fired up. I am writing this later to personally inform you of my satisfaction and amazement of the power you have invested into. My car is faster, the shifts are quicker and more precise, the rev limiter has been removed, , and my Idle has been set back to normal; All thanks to you and your tuner who I would like to give my gratifications to.
Thank You, as you have truly made a car enthusiast's day.
Sincerely,
Steven

I just want to thank you for the great tune and I will pass the word about what the company does. I just took my first highway drive in my 03 GMC Envoy since the tune and I averaged 21.5 mpg at 75 mph, what a increase. One question tho, when I sent it in I checked under gas type 87 oct but noted I was willing to use better. I was wondering if I could get the performance tune sheet done on my PCM. My Drive earlier noted was on premium gas but if it runs/tuned for lower then that is what I will run. I hope you can help me with the tune sheet! Thanks! And forgot to mention the power increase is also Incredible too!!

Hey guys! Just wanted to know I received the PCM and it is perfect! The
speedo seems right on now and the rough idle is gone. Thanks so much for
helping me out. I don't have to do a case relearn again correct? I'll be
mailing out the old PCM back to you tomorrow so I can get my $99 deposit
back. You might want to make that idle RPM increase more known to people
with colorados because I saw some other folks on coloradofans.com who were
complaining of the same symptoms after performing similar mods as me
(intake, exhaust + PCM reprogram) in the forums. Just a thought. Anyway

Awesome Updated Tune!
Bryan, thanks for the updated 93 octane tune for my built 383ci Caprice, It's behavior is much more refined than with the 93 octane tune for the stock 350ci. The throttle response is back, the transmission shifts when it should now after the stall converter, it pulls more fiercely throughout the upper rpm band, and the idle sounds killer at the raised 1000 rpm setting with your lopey idle tuning, it makes the mild comp 280xfi lope like a mean cam ground on a 110-112 lsa, instead of 113!! I have to say, nobody does custom lt1/lt4 pcm tunes like you, and i will return with all my pcm reprograming needs, especially since a Garrett twin 67mm turbo kit is eventualy going on the Caprice!

WOW.....What a difference! Well, it started on the 4th cycle as instructed, but I had to reset the Change Oil light...no biggie. A quick test drive immediately exposed the tuning changes! Remember, this is the 93 Octane tune, so your impressions may vary.
Low-end throttle response is much improved. Shifts are clean and firm! For some reason - that I cannot explain, the idle sound is slightly throatier than before, and the idle is still smooth! More toward the mid-range, there is a smoothness and surge of power that was not there before....I can\'t wait to take it on an open road.
My first impressions: This is by far the best $231 dollars I have invested into this truck, and if you are looking for a performance edge over the mundane....this is the mod for you!
I do believe a horsepower calculation is in order here, and I will try to be as conservative as possible. In stock configuration, the truck is rated at 220 BHP, with 230 ft/lbs torque. If I take into consideration the dyno results from the AEM Brute Force Intake (20.1 HP), and subtract about 5 ponies from that (15HP), a few ponies from the Flowmaster50 (2.5), a few from my Ram Air (2.5), and a conservative 10HP from the tuner, I believe my Canyon is putting out somewhere near 250 BHP, and about 242ft/lbs of torque! That\'s the \"conservative\" side folks, as I\'ve seen PCMForLess\' dyno of an 87 Octane tune that garnered nearly 16 additional ponies! I do believe there\'s a dyno run in my future!
Thanks Alvin and Kelly! I will be doing an article on this, once I get a few more miles on my SS....er...I mean ZQ8 Canyon!!!! :grin

Hi Kelly/Alvin,
Would like to say that I received my PCM today 9/25/06. No security relearn was needed.
Thanks for making this happen for my truck. It feels awsome, the shift points compliments the terrain on the islands, and even better on the city roads. I can\'t wait to add my power servo to the tranny. The downshift is incredible, it feels like I applied some Nitrous O. It almost feels like my v8, lol. The full throttle maintains its rev until it shifts out, which feels like a downshift - wow!. Several times I thought I was full throttle and there was still more to go. I\'m not use to the extras yet.. Its very strong on the hills - did I mention the shift points and downshift? I\'m lovin it, got home three hours late and one eighth lower on fuel, had to take it for another spin, didn\'t want to get out of it.
The thing is - my exhasut is still stock and no one got a clue to the performance upgrades. So, I can\'t wait to put on my catback system. Then they will notice.
So far its all ok. Thanks Again and would recomend PCMforLess to others down here.

Kelly and Alvin... Your stuff just totaly kicks =).. just got the performance tune in.. and got my K&N intake on it, makes an enormous difference =)
I get to 65 on the highway extreemely easy .. hardly any effort.. I idle much lower than stock, can almost not tell its running. You hit it right on the nose with the last post there alvin.. if your getting on it.. it realy sucks the gas =) but.. it does get on it quite a bit better than it did before.
I drove about 250 miles pulling a motorcycle trailer, and a motorcycle in the back, doing 80-85 all the way, up over a pass, not letting any grass grow at all , and averaged 19.5 mpg. I had done the exact same thing two weeks ago before I got this put in and only got 17ish mpg.. and wasn\'t able to pull the pass half as easy.. or cruze at 80+ with ease over the hills.
Very happy.. thanks again =)
