Is the computer in your vehicle locked from a previous tuner? If so we can help. A locked PCM means that you can not read, write, or erase the PCM. The problem is often the tuner shops that do this go out of business, or worse you purchased the vehicle used and do not know who locked it. Without the password the computer is completely useless. We offer a PCM unlocking service that is compatible with most LS1, V6, E38 E67, and E40 PCM's. Currently T42's not supported. Simply purchase the service below and send the computer to the Mooresville NC office. Please note that a 5-10 business day turn around time is common and to be expected. Unlocking a PCM is a complicated procedure and time is needed to do so. The computer will be returned to you with a stock calibration ready for your new tune. Please note it is against our policy to unlock a PCM and not return it to stock unless the previous shop is no longer in business either in original name or new entity. You must be prepared to prove to us that this is the case if you do not want the original tune wiped off the PCM. The decision is ours as if we leave the original tune in the unlocked PCM or return it to stock. Check with us if you are unsure your situation satisfies us to leave the original tune in the unlocked PCM.
